HONOURS

This site is intended to give you basic information about the Honours year at the Research School of Biology. Students may be located in any of the RSB buildings, also at JCSMR, CSIRO, and the ANU Medical School. We accept students enrolled in (but not limited to) BSc, BMedSci, and Bachelor of Biotechnology.

Students can enrol in one of three programs, each of which has a slightly different focus. They are:

Honours in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Honours in Botany and Zoology

Honours in Neuroscience.

Two intakes of students are accepted each year, in February and July.

The Honours year is very different from your earlier years at University. As an Honours student you work mostly on your own (with assistance and encouragement from your supervisor and examiners' committee), at your own speed, and you make your own decisions on how your work and research should proceed.

Explore the sites below, and if you have any questions, let us know.
