HIND1006 Basic Hindi Conversation A Credit Points: 3 Lecturer: Dr Richard Barz Semester 1 Website Online Course Materials (HIND1006)
Basic Hindi Conversation A (HIND1006) should be taken concurrently with Introductory Hindi A (HIND1002).
Textbooks
Online chapter by chapter lessons & exercises are provided to accompany the course texts:
- An Introduction to Hindi and Urdu by Richard Barz and Yogendra Yadav (Munshiram Manoharlal, New Delhi:2000)
- Hindi Exercise Manual with set of CD Recordings by Richard Barz and Yogendra Yadav (Canberra:1994)
Syllabus: The Basic Hindi Conversation Course encourages students to:
- engage in conversation by initiating and responding to questions.
- apply the grammatical constructs and framework of the Hindi language.
Assessment Requirements:
The assessment requirements are defined in the Couse Outline.
Contact Hours:
Two hours of lectures a week throughout the semester..
