Stream 13: Drivers of Successful Primary Health Care

The Australian Primary Health Care Research Institute calls for participation in Stream 13 of its research program.

Stream 13 will systematically identify, review and synthesize knowledge about the drivers of successful primary health care service delivery in Australia and develop practical policy options fit for use in the Australian context.

APHCRI has determined specific sets of research questions around the broad domain of drivers of successful primary health care, and is now seeking to commission groups to form spokes to address these questions.

Domain: Drivers of Successful Primary Health Care
Topic One: Quality of primary health care
Topic Two: Access to primary health care
Topic Three: Linkages and collaboration in the provision of primary health care;
Topic Four: Knowledgeable, skilled and motivated patients.
The stream will be focused on drivers in a clinical environment (encompassing all clinical primary care, including nursing, dental care, allied health and medical care).

Update, 23 July: The closing date for Stream 13 proposals is 29 August 2008.
