The Australian Government announced the membership of the new committees for the National Health and Medical Research Council’s Research, which include highly respected primary health care researchers. Professor Jane Gunn is on the 2009-2012 NHMRC Research Committee. Professors Chris Del Mar, Doris Young, John Wakerman are members of the new NHMRC Health Care Committee. |

Dr Kurt Stange, Professor of Family Medicine, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Oncology and Sociology at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, will give a public lecture at ANU on Tuesday, 29 September 2009. Dr Stephen Campbell, senior research fellow at the National Primary Care Research and Development Centre, University of Manchester, will give a public lecture at ANU on Tuesday, 6 October 2009. Dr Stange and Dr Campbell are visiting Australia as part of the APHCRI International Visiting Fellowship program. |
