Expert Review CommitteesExpert Review Committees are nominated by and report to the Research Advisory Board. They consider funding proposals and make recommendations to the Research Advisory Board on the Institute's research funding allocations. Expert Review Committees' Tasks
Composition of the Expert Review CommitteesThe Research Advisory Board appoints the Chair and members of each Expert Review Committee. The Chair of each Expert Review Committee is an independent appointment – that is, neither an employee of the University nor of the Department of Health and Ageing. The Chair is an experienced primary health care researcher of standing within the primary health care research field and with specialist interest and experience in the specific topic of her or his Committee. Each Expert Review Committee comprises members who have specialist research expertise and/or clinical or policy experience relevant to the research topic on which the Committee is considering research funding proposals. Expert Review Committees have been established to provide expert advice on proposals APHCRI received in response to its advertised work program for all APHCRI research streams.. They have:
