WHEN CAN I APPLY?

ANIP will accept two intakes of students in the year 2010.

Semester 1: begins February 2010
Semester 2: begins July 2010

Applications for Semester 1, 2010 close on 30 October 2009

Overseas and interstate students will need to consider the impact of starting dates on the total number of weeks they might be spending at the ANU.

For each intake of Interns there is a one day compulsory orientation seminar at the commencement of the Program.

The specific dates on which Interns begin their placements can depend on the Parliamentary timetable or availability of selected supervisors.

For overseas students, it is very important to note that if you are accepted, your placement will not recognise university vacations. You will be expected to be at work whilst lectures might be in suspension. Please make your travel arrangements for before or after your Internship.
