WHAT CREDIT DO I GET?

Note: That for undergraduates at the ANU a full-time load per semester is between 18 and 24 units.

If you enrol in Internship A (ANIP 3004) or Internship C (ANIP 3006) you will get 18 units (equivalent to three courses), so you then have the option of whether or not to enrol in an additional course (most undergraduate courses are 6 units).

We strongly advise Interns against simultaneously enrolling in more than one course in addition to Internship A. Please also note that we strongly suggest that overseas undergraduate students select Internship A (ANIP 3004).

If you enrol in Internship B (ANIP 3005) you will get 12 units (equivalent to two courses), so you may wish (or be required by your course adviser) to enrol in an additional two courses.

For graduate students, again we suggest that overseas students consider the combined coursework and research report option Internship A. The choice between an 8,000 word report or a 16,000 word report is best made in consultation with your course adviser or thesis supervisor.

Unsure about which course to select?

The ANIP Director Associate Professor Robert Campbell is happy to talk this through with you.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

Each student will receive a Certificate of Participation at the conclusion of the Program. In addition to the Certificate, each student's final grade will be included on their official ANU academic transcript.
