NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION or a LOBBY GROUP

Placement with a Non-Government Organisation or a Lobby group. ANIP attracts expressions of interest for Interns from a range of Canberra-based industry and community organisations. Former Interns have explored:

• foreign aid and development with the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) or Care Australia;
• environmental issues with the Department of the Environment and Heritage;
• social policy with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare or the Australian Institute of Criminology;
• industry policy with the Motor Trades Association of Australia, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the National Farmers' Federation.
