Merran Kelsall is a professional independent company director, originally qualified as a chartered accountant. She has considerable experience of audit, risk and compliance committees. She has a particular interest in aligning performance management with corporate strategy and has significant expertise in organisations with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, particularly large mutuals. She also gained experience in resolving customer complaints and alternative dispute resolution as the inaugural chairman of Public Transport Ombudsman (Victoria). She is a director of RACV Limited, Vic Super, Melbourne Water Corporation and director and Deputy President of CPA Australia Ltd. She has held many directorships, including of Colonial Limited and the National Gallery of Victoria.
