ANU Campus

The main ANU campus has more than 200 buildings on 145 hectares in the centre of Canberra.

Rankings

ANU is ranked number one in Australia, top in the southern hemisphere and 17th in the world by the UK Times Higher Education Magazine (2009). The University is also ranked number one in the southern hemisphere by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Higher Education (2009).

16715 students* enrolled in total, including:

26 per cent of Higher Degree Research students at ANU came from overseas

37 per cent of ANU students were enrolled at postgraduate level

31 per cent of domestic undergraduate students at ANU came from outside the ACT and surrounding region
