The Project
The goals of the project are:
- a high-quality Special Relativity teaching package, based on the Real Time Relativity software.
- an evaluation of the educational effectiveness of the package, including why and how simulations aid learning.
- a framework for developing other game-like simulations for use in other areas of Science.
- an increased awareness in the higher education community of the possibilities of
simulations in teaching and learning.
The project is funded by The Australian Learning and Teaching Council for the period 2008-2009.
