Short biography:

 

Pablo has lived in Mexico, United States and Italy. He was a lecturer in philosophy from 2000 to 2008 in three Mexican universities. At the same time he worked promoting cultural exchange and research links between Latin America and some 100 higher education institutions in Continental Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Norway), China and some English-speaking countries (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia). He was invited by the Australian National University’s Europe Centre (NEC) to be a visiting fellow from January to December 2009. During his time at NEC he has carried out research on the political identity of the European Union (EU), participated in the academic activities of the centre, provided assistance in the area of internationalisation, and convened the NEC seminar series. In March 2009 he was awarded a Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE) Postgraduate Research (PhD) Scholarship. Additionally, throughout the year he has been a tutor and guest lecturer in Contemporary European History and Politics at the ANU School of Social Sciences, and in two ANU teaching training programmes.
