Europa - Europa is the website of the European Union. It provides current information
on the EU's institutions, its legislation, and the policies enacted
under its various treaties.
Delegation of the European Commission in Australia & New Zealand - Established in 1981, the Delegation conducts official relations between
Australia and the European Community. It works closely with the diplomatic
missions of the EU Member States. The Delegation’s website contains
up to date information on a wide range of issues relating to the Australia
- EU relationship, including education and science and technology.
Europe in 12 Lessons - Pascal Fontaine - EU expert and former university professor - gives
a comprehensive overview of the European Union, its history, its activities
and how it works.
EURO-LEX - EUR-Lex provides direct free access to European Union law. Here you can consult the Official Journal of the European Union as well as the treaties, legislation, case-law and legislative proposals.
Eurobarometer - This is the website for the Public Opinion Analysis sector of the European Commission.Since 1973, the European Commission has been monitoring the evolution of public opinion in the Member States, thus helping the preparation of texts, decision-making and the evaluation of its work. The surveys and studies address major topics concerning European citizenship: enlargement, social situation, health, culture, information technology, environment, the Euro, defence, etc.

The Contemporary Europe Research Centre, University of Melbourne - This Centre is interested in comparative and multi-disciplinary studies
of east, central and west Europe. It is comprised of two Research Units:
the Research Unit for European Union Studies and the Research Unit for
Russian and Euro-Asian Studies. The website contains details of public
lectures, conferences and the Centre’s publication series.
The National Centre for Research in Europe, University of Caterbury (NZ) - Similar to the NEC, this Centre is interested in promoting awareness
of European issues and to build links with similar research centres
in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. This site contains information
on scholarships, journals, publications and grants.
The Monash European and EU Centre, Monash University - Key strengths of the Centre are the research expertise of its members and its multidisciplinary Master in European and International Studies which offers students the opportunity of studying in Europe and provides a portal to facilitate European and EU related activities across Monash University.
The Innovative Universities European Union Centre - The Centre encourages links between researchers in its constituent universities and in European universities through the sponsorship of conferences, seminars and symposia. The IUEU Centre operates from two principal nodes at La Trobe University (Melbourne) and Macquarie University (Sydney) with five partners: Flinders University (Adelaide), Griffith University (Brisbane), James Cook University, Murdoch University (Perth) and The University of Newcastle.
The New Zealand European Union Network, University of Auckland (NZ) - The strategic vision of the NZ EU Centre Network combines the three elements of research, teaching and outreach under a unique thematic umbrella focused on the impact, role and understanding of the EU within NZ and the Pacific region in general. The EUC Network is dedicated to the EU's interaction with our region in the widest terms as outlined in the 1999 Joint Declaration - involving economics, politics, security, innovation, development, democratic values and people and cultures.

Erasmus Mundus - Erasmus Mundus is a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education which promotes the European Union as a worldwide centre of excellence in learning.
Study in Europe (ASiE) - is an initiative of the Contemporary Europe Research Centre (CERC) at the University of Melbourne and has received funding and support from the Australian Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training, The Delegation of the European Commission to Australia and New Zealand and The National Europe Centre at the Australian National University. The website is dedicated to making it easier for Australians to embark on postgraduate study in Europe. It provides a host of links to relevant websites in Europe and Australia. ASiE also undertakes research and consultation with the EU Commission, European governments and a great number of universities and foundations. The aim is to produce and update as much as possible all information concerning grants and scholarships available to Australian students seeking to pursue doctoral studies in Europe.
DAAD Information Centre Sydney - DAAD stands for "Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst" - "German Academic Exchange Service". The DAAD is the major organisation in Germany responsible for the management of the country's government-sponsored programs for the support of higher education cooperation and exchange with all other parts of the world. Its programs are open to all countries and disciplines, to foreigners as well as to Germans.
