Safety First

Many of the techniques used in these samples require the use of protective clothing. Please do not attempt to undertake them without proper protection.

When I first started making quilts I used commercially printed fabrics.

Soon I learned about a wide range of techniques such as dyeing, printing, polychromatic screen printing , devoré or burnout, thermoplastics, melt-off and stencilling, to make my work more individual.

To see examples of the various techniques listed click on the title under each picture.
