Graduate
studies are conducted as part of the ANUs Visual Arts Graduate
Program. The Textiles Workshop provides a context for post
graduate studies which takes advantage of the range of expertise
and resources within the Workshop and School, as well access
to major collecting institutions such as the National Gallery
of Australia and Australian National Library. The programs
of study offered by the Textiles Workshop provide a unique
framework for ambitious graduates who aspire to excel in their
field through either research or coursework-based studies.
The courses are designed to meet the individual needs of students
involved in studio projects, academic research and taught
modules in textile technology, computer-aided design and art
theory. Students are encouraged to participate in the range
of exhibitions, seminars and workshops regularly initiated
by the Textiles Workshop. Visits to galleries, museums, workshops
and other locations are also part of the workshop program.
