Student Information

Undergraduate
Undergraduate students may take the three-year Bachelor of Visual Arts , the three-year Bachelor of Design Arts, the fourth year

Honours program, or the two-year Diploma of Art. In addition, combined degrees are offered in conjunction with the other Faculties.

Postgraduate
Through the ANU Graduate School, the Visual Arts Graduate Program offers research degrees leading to the PhD and the Master of Philosophy in both Studio Practice and conventional thesis modes. The coursework graduate degrees are the two year Master of Arts (Visual Arts), the one year Master of Visual Arts, the one year Master of Design Arts and the two semester Graduate Diploma of Art (by studio practice or by course work).

Visual Arts Access
The Visual Arts Access Program provides the Canberra community and surrounding region with access to a full range of visual arts and crafts disciplines in the dynamic atmosphere of the ANU School of Art.

Study Protocols
Various study policies and protocols that are relevant to either undergraduate or postgraduate student work including the School's Studio Supervsion Policy, Academic Writing Referencing Guidleines, and the ANU's Human Ethics guidleinies for research involving human subjects.
