Graduate
studies are conducted as part of the ANU’s Visual Arts Graduate
Program. The Printmedia and Drawing Workshop provides a
context for post graduate studies which takes advantage
of the range of expertise and resources within the Workshop
and School, as well as the proximity to the major collecting
institutions such as the National Gallery of Australia and
Australian National Library.
The
programs of study offered by the Printmedia and Drawing
Workshop provide a framework for students who wish to extend
their practice through an intensive period of studio-based
and/or written research, or course-work studies. Individual
programs of study in either coursework or research modes
are developed in consultation with workshop staff. A Workshop
honours/postgraduate seminar program offers the opportunity
for Printmedia students to discuss their work with peers,
and also provides a forum for discussion of exhibitions,
texts, and issues of interest.
