This conference will focus on photography in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, from the earliest uses of the photographic medium up to the present day. The conference will be interdisciplinary in scope, exploring connections with anthropology, ethics, fashion, history, literature and much more. It aims to consider new ways of thinking about photographic history, writing and practice.
