Nadege Desgenetez
Nadege was born and educated in France and more recently has taught in the USA, Europe and Japan. Working with blown glass for over 10 years, she refined her technical skills in Seattle as a hot shop team member for Lino Tagliapietea, Dale Chilhuly, Dante Marioni, Benjamin Moore, Dan Dailey and others.

Her own work exploits both traditional Venetian blowing techniques combined with colourful and playful designs. In her work Nadege deals with issues of misconception and social stereotypes infusing figurative elements with patterning using a range of techniques. Her glass pieces are held in numerous collections including the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh.
