| In
1988, the ANU School of Art established the Emerging Artists
Support Scheme (EASS) to support artists who have recently
completed their training at the School. EASS was originally
conceived as a scheme where patrons could purchase student
work either outright or for the EASS Loan Collection. This
collection is accessible by patrons on a rotational basis.
Over the years, EASS has developed to also include a number
of scholarships, prizes and awards - all established with
the generous assistance of the School of Art Patrons.
Opportunities
continue to exist for Patrons who wish to develop sponsorship
to suit their particular requirements, eg. loan collection,
acquisition, scholarships, prizes, awards, residencies, commissions
and endowments.
On
behalf of its students, the Australian National University
School of Art extends its appreciation for the continuing
support of its Patrons.
