Ecology, taxonomy and ultrastructure of nematodes

Background
A graduate in Zoology at Liverpool University, UK, a doctorate at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine on parasitological research in West Africa. A post doctorate Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship at Berkely, University of California. Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois. Lectured in Zoology at Liverpool University and since 1960 in Zoology at ANU until retirement in 1991.
