My primary research interest is the study and evaluation of evolutionary processes and I prefer to use reptile and frog systems because they are the animals I know the most about. I am cursed with a very short attention span I inherited from my father and so my research interests and those of the lab are quite broad. We "concentrate" on three main research areas which are described in detail below. Of course there is overlap between these research themes and I have listed some papers in multiple sections.
