Student office space - This originally was my lab but it is now used only for office and computer space. The lab has office space for four PhD students and other students are housed in a couple of nice offices around the corner from the lab. Postdocs have their own offices and honours students have their own office space in the building. We have a "real" lab across the hall for measuring lizards and things.

The "real" lab. This is right across the hall from the photos above, and this is the space we use for all animal measuring, incubating eggs and other smelly things.

The molecular evolution lab - The molecular evolution lab is shared by five academics and their research groups. It's huge and there is lots of space and cool molecular toys. The second photo is for my research group.
The Lizard Lounge - We now have quite a lizard keeping empire. The first photo is of our temperature and light controled lizard room where can individually house up to around 400 lizards. The next three photos are of our outdoor lizard enclosures. We have 40 enclosures that are each 2 metres and 23 enclosures that are each 4 meters in diameter. The enclosures have power and water and are fully fenced and covered with heavy-duty bird netting to keep all the nasties out. The enclosures are on campus in what is called the "Native Animal Enclosure". At the moment Jess, Sharon, Anke Maria, Louise and I are using the enclosures for experiments with water skinks, mountain log skinks, garden skinks and tawny dragons.

Bob's fish set-up. This is but a small part of Bob's fish paradise set up in a controlled temperature room.
